Licensing and attribution
Funny Haha Technologies cleans and republishes Australian public datasets from Commonwealth and State agencies. When you publish or share analysis, tables or outputs derived from these datasets, you must comply with the upstream licence conditions and include the required attribution for each dataset you use.
Every dataset catalog also includes a meta_datasets table containing the machine-readable source URLs, SHA-256
digests, licence identifiers and attribution notices for the exact release your pass reads.

Personal-information removals
Before publishing each dataset release, Funny Haha Technologies removes personal names from datasets that can identify natural persons:
au/abr— Legal names of unincorporated entities (such asINDsole traders andPTRpartnerships) and all unregulated trading names (TRDandBN) are omitted at parse time; registered business names (MNandDGR) and incorporated entities’ legal names are retained.au-vic/fjc— Entity names, business names and trading names are removed because certificates can be held by sole traders; records are keyed by ABN, certificate number and dates.au/ipaustralia— Individual applicants and owners, their names and the text descriptions of their trade marks are removed; corporate applicants and owners are retained and keyed by ABN.au-vic/cgeps— Counts of fewer than 10 people in the workforce tables are withheld, as the Commission’s portal withholds them, and the exact small counts in its data are not read. Parental leave is published as the portal’s page shows it, including small groups, as figures the Commission already publishes.
